Open Day at Studfarm Zangersheide

Large crowd expected on Open Day on January 16th

The number of visitors to Studfarm Zangersheide's Open Day has so far almost doubled each year. This is no surprise in view of the international successes of Zangersheide horses and the interesting sires offered by the Studfarm. A foto Sandra Nieuwendijkgrowing number of showjumping horse breeders bring their mares to Zangersheide in order to secure some of the best sporting blood. Naturally you will also be kept informed of which broodmares Zangersheide is using, which offspring of international sires are reserved and, in general, what daily life at an internationally-minded studfarm and showjumping stables is like. On the first Open Day of the new century you are from 12.30 hrs. again very welcome to come and take a look in the Zangersheide 'kitchen'. That is when the stables, the facilities (such as the matchless covered horse-walking belt, where ten horses in a row can get their daily exercise) and also the laboratory, are open for inspection. You can watch the more than two-hour stallion show (14.00 hrs.), in which all the Zangersheide sires will present themselves in person, either under saddle over fences, or in the three basic gaits, or in hand. Alongside golden 'oldies' such as Nissan Carthago Z, also the promising Nissan Chellano Z and the newest acquisition Nissan Canabis Z. Plus, World Champion of the seven-year olds, Nissan Caretano Z will be their with his regular partner Jos Lansink.

We are counting on your visit!
