Z-FESTIVAL - Friday and Saturday 30 and 31 July 1999

The event at which you can show your Z-product to a large public

For the first time this year, on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the Studbook, Zangersheide will organise a Z-Festival. This two day event will take place on Friday and Saturday 30 and 31 July, some time before the World Championships for Young Showjumping Horses. All the classes of this summer festival can be entered by Z-horses and will take place in the open air, in an ideal accommodation. The programme will include classes for 3- and 4-yr-old showjumping horses which will be judged by an international jury on various components. The traditional Benelux Foal Championship will, earlier than in former years, be part of the programme of Z-Festival.

Any 3-yr-old Z-horses (stallions, mares or geldings) can show their metal in the free jumping class. The 4-yr-old showjumpers have to jump a line under saddle. The horses in both classes will be judged on talent, technique, power, push-off, action and correctness.

At Z-Festival owners/breeders may enter their products in the selection for the Elite Z-auction, which will this year also include the sale of 4-yr-olds, and stallions licensed or non-licensed at selections. This can be stated on the entry form for participation in Z-Festival. The Elite Z-auction will be held, as always, during the World Championships for Young Horses from 23-26 S eptember 1999. The sales prices realized at the auction have steadily gone up over the years! In 1999 an extensive promotion campaign will precede the auction.
